FGD gypsum, which is actively traded by EP Power Minerals CZ, is used in the production of plasterboard, plaster and cement and also as a setting time regulator and activator of the hardening process of aerated concrete, and in the production of plaster mixes.
In addition to sales, EPPM CZ also provides its customers with subsequent logistics to the destination. Currently, it uses combined transport, helping to reduce CO2 emissions compared to road transport alone. FGD gypsum is transported by rail and still partly by road, which is provided by two sister transport companies within EPH, EP Cargo and EP Cargo Trucking.
By shifting the transport of gypsum from road to rail, we offer our customers a more efficient and environmentally friendly solution as part of our sustainable business.
